DeFuture Education successfully hosted study tour groups from Japan and China in January 2026, providing students with high-quality academic, cultural, and local school experiences in New Zealand.

Collaboration with New Zealand education providers for foundation pathways allows international students to gain entry into NZ degree programs by completing a preparation qualification, often with guaranteed progression to a university . These "global pathway" programs, offered by recognized local providers, enable students to earn credit or entry into a New Zealand degree by studying in their home country before transferring to NZ.

Several IELTS preparation courses will start in January 2026, including the Intensive Course at the Malta University Language School (starting January 19th) and an online teacher training course by Nile ELT (starting January 12th) . Other options include a University Foundation Programme by Bell and the Chaucer College IELTS preparation course.

Several 2026 study tours are available in New Zealand, including a June/July tour for educators focused on Auckland and Rotorua's education system and culture, an early childhood education tour in March centered on Learning Stories and bicultural practice, and an Alumni and Family Travel tour from St. Olaf College in July . Other tours include an early 2026 leadership tour , a Stanford Alumni Association tour in January for the South Island, and an active North Island tour
